Grillers Skewers

Ingredients

  • Reynaldo's Grillers, Al Pastor, cut into rounds

  • ½ red onion, cut into chunks

  • 2 red or orange bell peppers, cut into chunks

  • 1 pineapple, peeled, cored, and cut into chunks

  • Olive oil, for brushing the skewers

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for at least 30 minutes before cooking

Directions

  1. Preheat the grill on medium heat

  2. While the grill is heating, thread the sausage, veggies, and pineapple onto the skewers. Alternate sausage, pepper, sausage, onion, sausage, pineapple, and repeat until the skewers are almost completely covered, leaving one inch free at the top and bottom

  3. Brush the skewers with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper

  4. Grill the skewers until the grillers are cooked and the peppers are blistered, about 15 minutes, rotating occasionally

  5. Remove from heat and enjoy with your favorite sides
