A History of Flavor & Tradition
Reynaldo’s is more than just food. It’s family, flavor, and tradition passed down through generations. It all started with the Garcia family in 1983 just outside East L.A., where the Garcia family set out to share the traditional Mexican flavors they grew up with. Originally known as El Rey, our products quickly became a staple in Mexican-American households across the West Coast. What started as a humble, family-run business — where chorizo was handcrafted with care and cinnamon was sprinkled by hand onto creamy rice pudding — grew into something much bigger.
Reynaldo’s has carried forward that same heart and heritage for more than 40 years. Our recipes remain deeply rooted in tradition, inspired by abuela’s kitchen and the dishes that bring families together: chorizo con huevos on a Sunday morning, arroz con leche shared between generations, and bold, comforting flavors that feel like home.
